Changing your line before each day on the water can mean the difference in bringing in not only the "big" one, but any fish into the boat. Changing just half of the spool saves a lot of time and money and gives the same results. Check your line often throughout the day for wear, especially at the knot, taking off at least a couple of feet or more if needed to get to fresh line.
About Bill:
Bill Anderson was born in Louisville, Kentucky, grew up on the family farm in Bullitt County, Kentucky and started fishing at an early age. He married his wife Lisa in 1997 and they moved to Kentucky Lake and bought a resort, Gingerwood Lodges, in 2001. They have five children, Rachel, Joy, Benjamin, Amanda and Caitlin, all of them grown-up and out on their own now. They have three grandsons, Robbie who was born in 2005, Joel who we lost in 2006 and the newest edition, James who was born January 9, 2010. They are expecting their first granddaughter, Elizabeth Hope in August 2011.
After talking with all of the professional bass fishermen that have stayed with them at Gingerwood Lodges over the years and with all of their encouragement, in 2008, Bill decided to follow his life-long dream of professional bass fishing and signed up for the FLW, Bass Fishing League, LBL Division on Kentucky Lake as a co-angler. He fished as a co-angler in the 2009 & 2010 FLW Stren Series & BFL, LBL Division.
For 2011, Bill will be fishing in the FLW Everstart Series and some local tournaments as a professional.
Bill pledges a portion of his winnings to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital for cancer research and treatment.

Site Update Complete
I just finished converting the site over to the new content management system. This major overhaul won't affect the appearance of the site much, but will let us provide more dynamic content and more frequent updates directly from Bill. Please keep stopping by, and keep an eye out for Bill's 2009 tournament results, new fishing tips, and much much more.
